Bamfield
Beginning April 18th, 2019, Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District will provide building inspection services every third Thursday of the month from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm from the Bamfield Fire Hall located at 352 Pachena Rd, Bamfield, BC. If you have questions regarding building permits, please come by to speak with an inspector. For further information, please contact ACRD at (250) 720-2700 or inquire at mailbox@acrd.bc.ca.
The Bamfield Residential Backyard Burning Bylaw was created by the Bamfield Volunteer Fire Department and was adopted by the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District Board of Directors on June 26, 2013.
The bylaw prohibits the burning of garbage and other noxious materials as well as requires a permit for all fires over two (2) square meters in size. Please refer the Bylaw R1025 listed below for complete details.
The burning permit application is also provided and is to be submitted directly to the Bamfield Volunteer Fire Department at bvfd@island.net. If you require further information please contact the Fire Department at 250-728-3433.
