The Bamfield Area Services Committee was formed in 2023 to consider issues and to make recommendations to the ACRD Board of Directors pertaining to services for one or more of the following areas within the region: Huu-ay-aht First Nations, Uchucklesaht Tribe Government, and Bamfield. Services include Bamfield Waste Management, Community Parks, Fire Department, Emergency Planning, Water System and any proposed services for one or more of the areas.
The committee is made up of a director from Bamfield, Huu-ay-aht First Nations, and Uchucklesaht Tribe Government as well as four community volunteers. The Terms of Reference for the Committee can be found HERE.
