Log Train Trail Closure Please be advised that Island Timberlands will be commencing logging operations in an area North East of McLean Mill in the next couple of days (January 9, 2018). Please see map below. The cutblock is adjacent to the Log Train Trail, therefore the trail will be completely closed during the falling phase. A retention buffer has been placed along the length of the cutblock, adjacent to the Log Train Trail. The Log Train Trail Regional Park is a Linear Park leased to the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District by the Ministry of Transportation and Highways and is located in the Alberni Valley. The Trail stretches for 25 kilometers along the foot of the Beaufort Range. It is accessible from many points in the Alberni Valley.
