In collaboration with the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation (JEDI), the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is hosting an Information Session from 12:00 – 1:00pm on Thursday July 27, 2023 on Small Business Financing and Business Advisory Services from Community Futures (CF) who provide direct support and a variety of services to small business in the region. This session is intended to provide support to small businesses impacted by the Highway 4 road closures. We invite you to join us, this is a great opportunity to learn and ask questions!
The session will feature presentations from Lori Camire, Executive Director of CF Alberni-Clayoquot, who will provide an overview of CF services and financial support programs that are available to help your business mitigate the current challenges and impacts from the Highway 4 road closures, Ron Arcos from the Nuu-chah-nulth Economic Development Corporation who promote and assist in the development and establishment of new and existing Aboriginal and First Nation business enterprises on Vancouver Island, as well as Brady Calancie, Regional Business Advisor with CF Central Island, who works one on one with small business to provide tools, resources and strategies to help business build resiliency and succeed as part of the Rural Advisory Program.
