RFP - West Coast Organic Processing Equipment Supply, Install, & Support
The Alberni‐Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) has issued this Request for Proposals to solicit priced proposals for supply and installation of compost processing equipment for the West Coast Organic Processing Facility located at the West Coast Landfill.

  1. The supply and installation of compost processing technology that is able to process scrape the plate food waste (meaning all food waste including, but not limited to, meat, dairy, fats, oils and grease), yard waste, compostable fiber products, such as food containers and cutlery, and possibly compostable bags ("Organic Waste") from the ACRD residential curbside and industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) Organic programs;
  2. Design integration with the ACRD's Engineer; and
  3. Ongoing operational support for one year following substantial completion of the facility

    RFP - ACHN Coordinator
    On behalf of the Alberni‐Clayoquot Health Network (ACHN) the Alberni‐Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms and individuals to provide leadership capacity and coordination services for the ACHN for a three (3) year contract, with the option to renew for a further one (1) year. The contract is expected to commence February 1, 2022.

    RFP - Bamfield Waste Recycling Coordinator
    The Alberni‐Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors for Bamfield Waste & Recycling Services for a period of three years, with the option to renew for up to a further three years. The contract is expected to commence April 1, 2022.

    1. Maintain and operate the Bamfield Transfer Site, by keeping the site safe, clean, and organized, with all waste, metal and recyclable material kept in their proper containers.
