Development Variance Permits
| A Development Variance Permit issued by the Regional Board may vary the following:
The jurisdiction of the Regional District to issue development variance permits is much broader than that of the Board of Variance. The only limitation on a local government is that it cannot vary use or density of land by way of a development variance permit. Undue hardship is not a prerequisite to a development variance permit and the variance may be more than minor. |
